- this new set of stories represents in some way the meeting point between our cinematographical passions and the great, super-popular movies of all times. you have the movies that made the world (and us) cry (E.T.), scream (alien, the shining), think (the matrix), hope (robin hood), and so on. and each movie, if it's really great, can create a new world, tell a story that's never been told before, give life to unforgettable characters. so, squeezing all these things into a few icons is particularly funny and interesting. in case of particluarly long movies or sagas (like lost or the lord of the rings), the final result is even funnier. anyway, we created them for two reasons. the first one is obviously that we deeply love movies. the magic of a film can't be replaced by anything else, no matter how technology evolves. human beings need stories and emotions. the second reason is more practical. a new book of short stories will be published in uk. it will be completely dedicated to movies, and the title will presumably be Film in 5 Seconds or Movies in Five Seconds. (about) 200 movies (those people and we love more) represented in a super-quick way, as usual.
